FeesTerms and conditions

Hosted at the Bassett Park Netball Precinct, the games can be run with both girls' and boys' netball and offered a across a variety of ages and skill level from 5 + years and onwards. The age levels of the team cannot be decided until grading has been done to determine our numbers and this can vary each year.

Please note: no players will play up a division on a set team.

The minimum participation age is 5 as at December 31st in the year of play.

COST:
MNA Registration Fee: $40.00
Netball Qld Insurance Fee/s see below;
5-6 years: $59.00 (NB: 10 week program for this age group)
7- 10 years NetSetGO!: $115.00
11+ years+: $123.00 (one off fee only if your child has already registered and paid this for Rep Netball please do not pay again)

  • Code of Conduct for Parents

    As a Parent/Guardian, I am a positive role model for my child, all participants and spectators. I agree to act with respect towards all those I come into contact with through sport. This means I will:

    . cooperate with the association to achieve the best outcome for your child
    . respect others and treat them with dignity, regardless of their gender, ability, ethnicity or religion
    . maintain positive relationships with team officials regarding your child's learning, wellbeing and behaviour
    . appreciate that the majority of coaches and officials are dedicated volunteers who have given up their time to serve my family and community
    . commit to supporting them through encouragement and positive feedback
    . celebrate personal growth and fun as much as winning and support all participants, regardless of skill level
    . respect the skills, decision-making and judgement of coaches, officials, other volunteers and participants
    . honour the spirit of the sport and prioritise the safety and welfare of all participants, including athletes, officials, coaches, spectators and volunteers
    . be a positive example and promote good sportsmanship by:
    - having zero tolerance of comments or behaviours which are abusive, offensive, racist, sexist or otherwise demeaning to others
    - taking responsibility for my speech, actions and behaviour
    - promoting enjoyment of the game and advocating against abuse of alcohol and performance enhancing and illegal drug use
    . be courteous and constructive in your communication with players, team officials, game officials and sport administrators.

    Spectators' code of conduct
    . demonstrate appropriate social behaviour at Maranoa Netball Association events and carnivals they are attending
    . remember children play for enjoyment, please don't let your behaviour detract from their enjoyment
    . let game officials conduct events without interference
    . support skilled performances and team play with generous applause
    . demonstrate respect for opposing players and their supporters
    .support our team officials, by not interfering with them while they are addressing the team

    Consequences for breaches of this code by parents / spectators

    Team managers and event organisers may deal immediately with any breaches of this code by warning offenders about their conduct, asking offenders to leave venues, and calling police to intervene where necessary. Maranoa Netball Association is responsible for imposing any longer term consequences such as written warnings, or barring attendance at future events for a period or indefinitely.
